The Voice: Trevin Hunte vs. Amanda Brown of Team CeeLo
Here's a sneak peek of one of the battles viewers will see this Monday night on NBC's The Voice. It's Trevin Hunte vs. Amanda Brown of Team CeeLo singing "Vision of Love," a song made possible for Mariah Carey.
This was a really good battle and I thought that both contestants really brought their best. Trevin really impressed me with his vocal range and his ability to hit those high notes without straining. Amanda just has a natural sweetness and power to her voice that came across loud and clear in this particular song. I caught the show on my Hopper late last night and thanks to the timer I didn’t miss the first battle round. I’m glad that Amanda got snapped up by another team because she is the only one that I thought truly tied with her battle partner. My DISH co-workers were rooting for Nelly to beat out De’Borah but I thought they were both great and that the choice was really hard. De’Borah really came out and made the song her own by really showcasing her range and feeling the rhythm in the music.

Great insights, Kadija.
